Join Our Team as a Mental Health Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our team at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to children and adolescents with psychiatric and mental health challenges.

About the Role

As a Mental Health Technician, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a therapeutic rapport with adolescents, assisting and supporting them in developing independent living skills and social skills. You will also engage in daily activities such as recreational and social activities that enhance social skill development, address and redirect inappropriate behavior, and implement treatment plan goals and objectives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma and two years of direct care experience or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with at least twelve credit hours in a human services discipline.
