About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at SP Plus Corporation. As a key member of our parking operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless parking experience for our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with parking services and facilitate the efficient flow of traffic through our facilities
  • Lead programs to improve client and customer satisfaction, ensuring a high level of service quality
  • Assist in the management of day-to-day activities at our assigned locations, ensuring a safe and secure environment for customers
  • Monitor parkers in pay-in lanes and provide assistance as needed
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner
  • Provide directions to customers and assist with navigation through our facilities
  • Resolve customer complaints independently or with the aid of a supervisor, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Answer telephone calls in a prompt and courteous manner, providing assistance and support to customers
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and free of hazards
  • Present yourself professionally at all times, adhering to our company's dress code and appearance standards
  • Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ensuring that our facilities are staffed and ready to serve customers
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Experience with automated parking access control hardware and software or a high aptitude for technology
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, nights, afternoons, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret the English language
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but standard written or oral instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
