Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapy Lead Dosimetrist to join our team at Baptist Health. As a key member of our Radiation Oncology department, you will play a critical role in designing treatment plans and delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans using computer and manual computation to deliver prescribed doses to patients.
  • Collaborate with Radiation Therapists, Medical Physicists, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to Medical Dosimetry staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Participate in quality control and safety initiatives to ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Contribute to financial management and productivity goals, driving business success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum five years of experience as a Medical Dosimetrist, with a strong background in radiation oncology.
  • Medical dosimetry certification (CMD) or eligibility, with completion required within one calendar year of employment.
  • BCLS certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred.
  • Experience with Varian Aria 15.5, Eclipse 15.5, and Velocity preferred.
