Radiation Oncology Lead Dosimetrist Full Time Days

Baptist Health is seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapy Lead Dosimetrist to join our team. As a key member of our radiation oncology department, you will be responsible for designing treatment plans, providing high-quality patient care, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement treatment plans using computer and manual computation
- Provide patient care and support during treatment planning and delivery
- Collaborate with radiation therapists, medical physicists, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care
- Lead and mentor medical dosimetry staff to ensure high-quality patient care and departmental productivity
- Participate in quality control and safety initiatives to ensure patient and staff safety
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years of experience as a medical dosimetrist
- Medical dosimetry certification (CMD) or eligibility within one calendar year of employment
- BCLS certification
- ARRT registration (RTT) or equivalent certification
