Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at UofL Health Brown Cancer Center.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a highly experienced team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiation therapy and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver radiation treatments to cancer patients following the prescription of the Radiation Oncologist.
- Operate various highly technical equipment with accuracy and precision.
- Participate in clinical and/or didactic instruction and evaluation of Radiation Therapist (RTT) Students.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree from an approved program in Radiologic Technology with completion of approved curriculum in Radiation Therapy.
- Board certification in Radiation Therapy, or board eligible. Registered with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists.
- Commonwealth of KY Radiation Operator Certificate.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- A minimum of 6 months of prior experience as a Radiation Therapist.
