Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Admissions Specialist to join our team at Acadia Healthcare. As an Admissions Specialist, you will play a critical role in facilitating the admissions process for patients seeking treatment at our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Admissions Process: Coordinate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a smooth and efficient admissions process.
  • Assess Patient Needs: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their treatment needs and develop individualized plans.
  • Coordinate Care: Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions of care and effective communication.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring a positive experience throughout the admissions process.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Social Work, Vocational Rehabilitation, Sociology, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum one year experience working with individuals in a clinical or observational capacity.
  • Certifications: CPI and CPR certifications (offered on site).
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum one year experience working with individuals in a clinical or observational capacity, preferably within the area of substance use disorder.
