About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Novant Health's New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. As a key member of our vascular service line, you will provide specialized care for patients undergoing vascular surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and coordinate patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team
  • Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Ensure timely patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Document patient assessments, care delivery, and responses to care in medical records
  • Provide patient and family education and support
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program
  • Current valid North Carolina nursing license or Multi-State/Compact license
  • At least one year of experience in acute care
