As an Underwriting Analyst within the Agency division, you will play a crucial role in supporting our underwriting operations.
Key Responsibilities- Under direct supervision, perform essential due diligence, document processing, and financial/statistical evaluations to assist the underwriting process. You may help prepare business cases for credit assessments, although you will not have the authority to approve credit.
- Conduct basic due diligence by reviewing pertinent forms, delivering analyses, and requesting necessary reports.
- Support the underwriting process by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of relevant information and documentation.
- Execute fundamental financial analyses, including cash flow assessments and collateral evaluations.
- Address inquiries from internal and external clients, providing research and responses as needed.
- Possess knowledge of IRS Code Sections 42 and 47, equity structures, documentation, and market research, including on-site inspections and comparative market analysis.

This position typically requires an Associate's degree or equivalent experience, along with relevant industry knowledge. Generally, a minimum of 4 years of related experience is expected. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience may be considered.
CompensationThe base salary for this role ranges from $34,000.00 to $89,700.00, subject to variation based on geographic location, market data, and individual qualifications, experience, and education. This position is eligible for performance-based incentives.
