POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales and Strategy Associate Intern at Clark Associates Companies will immerse themselves in the daily operations of a retail environment, contributing to exceptional customer service and satisfaction. This role will focus on achieving various operational objectives through effective customer engagement strategies that align with the goals of our sales, purchasing, and inventory teams.

· Engage in business-to-business sales and customer service, emphasizing the development of relationships with our clientele.

· Implement our established process: 1) enhance brand visibility, 2) evaluate customer needs, 3) surpass expectations, and 4) foster loyalty.

· Carry out basic cashier responsibilities and assist in loading products into customer vehicles.

· Maintain store presentation through cleaning and merchandising, including restocking shelves and organizing incoming stock.

· Analyze fundamental inventory data to assess product availability and reorder status.

· Advocate for our private label brands to optimize gross profit.

· Inform potential customers about our competitive advantages, including superior personnel, advanced technology, and pricing.

· Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our website and guide customers on effectively utilizing our integrated business model.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management is preferred.High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required, along with experience in CRM systems and project management tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey technical and complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and handle challenging situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence.A service-oriented mindset with a commitment to exceeding expectations.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

· Business proficiency in English is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position may require travel to other retail locations within the region (applicants should possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation).
