LifeNet Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Transplant Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our clinical services department, you will play a critical role in facilitating the donor referral, clinical management, and organ recovery processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate referrals for organ and tissue donor suitability based on established guidelines and regulations.
  • Ensure donated organs are allocated efficiently and in accordance with LifeNet Health and OPTN/UNOS policies.
  • Preserve organs and tissue according to national standards to ensure maximum viability for transplantation.
  • Provide input and facilitate the donor referral, clinical management, and organ recovery processes.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff, physicians, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and logistical coordination throughout the donation process.
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Two years of critical care experience in medical, surgical trauma, thoracic, cardiovascular, cardiac, pediatric, or ER settings
  • Valid State Driver's License
  • Active RN License and good standing with the issuing state board of nursing
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator Certification
  • Four years of critical care experience in medical, surgical trauma, thoracic, cardiovascular, cardiac, pediatric, or ER settings

Salary: $75,841 - $101,121 annually

Eligibility: This position is eligible for an annual bonus once eligibility criteria are met.
