Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Management Specialist III to join our team at Carilion Clinic. As a key member of our Materials Management Department, you will be responsible for coordinating and administering the supply support system to ensure efficient operations and meet the needs of our patients and site/organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, administer, implement, and assist in the development of the supply support system.
  • Act as a representative of Carilion Clinic items and services, requiring clinical knowledge.
  • Manage acquisition, procedure development, maintenance, repair, and reporting of errors for inventory control systems.
  • Design, run, review, and maintain reports for problem resolutions.
  • Provide technical support for RFID/RTLS systems and components.
  • Provide direct customer service to clinical and non-clinical staff.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED; college degree desirable.
  • Five (5) years of healthcare materials management or inventory experience with proven Excel spreadsheet skills desired.
  • MMIS experience preferred.
  • Virginia Driver's License.
