Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation to other healthcare providers on medication therapy and patient care.
- Develop and implement clinical monitoring programs for patients receiving complex medications.
- Oversee the billing and insurance verification process for specialty medications.
- Collaborate with patients, coordinators, and other healthcare teams to ensure timely and accurate dispensing of medications.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a College of Pharmacy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).
- ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Practice Residency or three years of previous clinical pharmacy experience in a relevant care setting.
- License to practice Pharmacy in the Commonwealth of Virginia within 90 days of hire.
