Quality Assurance Specialist Senior

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Quality Inspector Senior to join our team in Chelmsford, MA. As a Quality Inspector Senior, you will be responsible for inspecting purchase parts and materials for conformity to standards, specifications, and processing requirements. You will also be responsible for making pass or fail decisions on inspected goods.
Responsibilities
• Inspect purchased parts and materials for conformity to standards, specifications, and processing requirements using predetermined methods and sequences.
• Inspect for proper identity and dimensions using measuring devices such as micrometers, gauges, and calipers.
• Visually inspect for obvious defects or damage such as corrosion, cracks, dents, scratches, and pits.
• Verify specifications using purchase orders, blueprints, drawing or inspection instructions, and checklists.
• Make pass/fail decisions on inspected goods.

Requirements
• Microscope visual inspection experience
• 1 or more years of inspection experience
• ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) training / awareness
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to obtain security clearance and must be able to obtain an interim secret clearance prior to starting
• Ability to use inspection hand tools
• Ability to follow work instructions
Security Clearance
This position requires a government security clearance, and you must be a US Citizen for consideration. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance and will require an interim secret clearance prior to starting.

Work Schedule
