Job Title

Foster Care Case Manager with CWELs for Chicago-South Location

We are seeking a skilled professional to work in the field of child welfare, specifically as a Foster Care Case Manager. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and families, and a strong background in case management.

The primary responsibilities of this role include conducting regular home visits to assess clients' needs and progress, arranging and supervising visits between children and their birth parents, transporting children as needed for visits with biological parents, preparing and maintaining documents and reports of cases, assessing birth parents and children for strengths and needs, referring clients to services and monitoring progress, completing data entry into client management systems, and consulting with supervisor and following course of action.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Service, Psychology or similar field from an accredited university
  • Passing of all DCFS required examinations and certifications, including Child Welfare Licensure
  • 1 year of experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license, access to insured automobile and acceptable driving record
  • Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships
Salary and Benefits

Our competitive salary range for this position is estimated at $58,400-$70,200 per year, based on education level and location. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid vacation, 14 paid agency holidays, medical, dental, vision, 401k, short-term disability, AFLAC coverage, and agency-paid life insurance.
