Key Responsibilities:

Financial Documentation:

Generate and uphold precise financial records, encompassing general ledger entries, monthly and annual closing processes, and the preparation of financial statements.


Accounts Payable and Receivable Management:
Handle invoice processing, account reconciliations, and collections management. Guarantee prompt invoice payments and accurate transaction recording.

Bank Reconciliation:
Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements to confirm accurate cash balances and swiftly address discrepancies.

Expense Oversight:
Supervise and manage organizational expenses, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints and corporate policies.

Asset Management:
Maintain the fixed asset ledger, including the tracking of additions, disposals, and depreciation calculations.

Budgeting and Financial Forecasting:
Assist in the formulation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Evaluate variances between actual outcomes and budgeted projections.

Internal Control Implementation:
Establish and uphold internal control protocols to protect company assets and ensure adherence to corporate policies and regulations.

Audit Assistance:
Support both external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications as needed.

Tax Compliance:
Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal tax regulations. Prepare and submit tax returns, including sales tax, property tax, and income tax.

Special Reporting:
Generate tailored reports and analyses as requested by management.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Experience:
A minimum of 2-4 years of accounting experience, ideally within the heavy machinery or manufacturing sector.

Technical Proficiency:
Expertise in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Knowledge Base:
Comprehensive understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and tax legislation.

Analytical Proficiency:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Communication Skills:
