Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Permian Resources, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for general operations accounting duties, preparing and recording accruals, monitoring internal controls, and coordinating audits.

The ideal candidate will have strong fundamental accounting knowledge, analytical and problem-solving skills, public accounting experience, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record journal entries as assigned for the monthly close process
  • Prepare quarter- and month-end accruals
  • Perform monthly analysis around working interest and NRI
  • Complete financial trend analysis and communicate to management
  • Prepare analysis and journal entries related to acquisitions and divestitures
  • Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
  • Assist with coordination of external auditors
  • Provide support for special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel and Word)
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize activities and meet all deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess a strong work ethic and demonstrate a positive/flexible attitude in a fast-paced work environment
