Job Summary:

The Texas Department of Public Safety is seeking a highly skilled Criminal Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our intelligence unit, you will be responsible for conducting complex research and analysis to identify and evaluate patterns and trends in criminal activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of criminal intelligence data to identify patterns and trends.
  • Develop and implement strategies to disrupt and prevent criminal activity.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to share intelligence and best practices.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and briefings to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of criminal intelligence.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in criminal intelligence analysis or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience working with law enforcement agencies or other government organizations.
  • Knowledge of intelligence gathering methodologies and analytical tools.
