Data Specialist Job Description

EisnerAmper is a leading accounting, tax, and business advisory firm seeking a skilled Data Specialist to join our team. As a Data Specialist, you will play a critical role in collecting and processing data to provide actionable insights to our Advisory Operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze requirements and architect appropriate solutions to meet business needs.
  • Streamline data collection methods to create automated reports and improve data accuracy.
  • Maintain databases and data systems by addressing errors and monitoring performance.
  • Interpret data analysis results to identify trends and patterns, and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports for service line leadership and internal teams, highlighting key findings and insights.
  • Support the evolving needs of the practice by extracting relevant insights from complex datasets.
  • Facilitate reporting solutions that meet quality and performance requirements.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
  • Develop reporting standards and best practices to ensure data standardization and consistency.
  • Verify the accuracy of data and maintain the Data Warehouse.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field.
  • Four+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, research, compilation, and/or reporting.
  • Strong proficiency in data processing technology, SQL, and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
