Compliance Specialist to Analyst

Atmos Energy Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating responses to regulatory citations and audits, working closely with Compliance and Operations to research background information for responses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate responses to regulatory citations and audits, working closely with Compliance and Operations to research background information for responses.
- Assist management and supervisors with researching and gathering information from various detailed technical/compliance records for summaries, monthly or ad hoc reports, and annual regulatory filings or audits.
- Prepare compliance projects in the company's project creation system under the direction of the compliance staff.
- Ensure that regulatory permits, Right of Way agreements, and railroad leases are filed properly and documented correctly in the proper company system or file.
- Maintain files or reports to support compliance activities, communicating compliance needs and status reports to supervisors.
- Provide training and/or assistance in the use of various Engineering systems.
- Assist with project coding, project completion, project unitization, mass asset retirements, and third-party damage.
Requirements:
- Requires Associate's degree and one year of relevant experience; or
- Requires high school education or the equivalent and three years compliance experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, motivate, and build consensus with internal and external customers.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) to create documents, reports, graphs, presentations, and emails.
Work Environment:
This role requires work inside and outside an office environment, occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning, and/or lifting.
