Job Title: Breast Sonographer

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Breast Sonographer to join our team. As a Breast Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct ultrasound examinations of the breast to evaluate for abnormalities and guide biopsies
  • Prepare patients for examinations, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • State licensure as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in breast sonography
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
