Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Breast Sonographer to join our dynamic team at UCHealth. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care and performing various ultrasound procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional patient care by reviewing patient history, physician's orders, and scheduling exams.
  • Educate patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure their understanding and cooperation.
  • Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as necessary.
  • Select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters to ensure high-quality results.
  • Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and certified in Mammography (M) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Certification in Breast Sonography (BS) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • State licensure if required by law.
  • 6 months of experience in Mammography or Breast Sonography.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
