About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Breast Sonographer to join our team at UCHealth. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care and performing various ultrasound procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and perform ultrasound procedures to diagnose and treat breast-related conditions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes and provide a high level of patient satisfaction.
  • Model proficiency through precepting new team members and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in breast imaging and contribute to the development of new procedures and protocols.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and quality-driven work environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and certified in Mammography (M) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Certification in Breast Sonography (BS) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • State licensure if required by law.
  • 6 months of experience in Mammography or Breast Sonography.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
