Career Opportunity for a Service and Technical Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Service and Technical Manager to join our team at PeopleShare. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and training to our dealer network and end-users.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and guidance to our dealers and end-users through various channels, including email, phone, and in-person interactions.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to empower our dealers and end-users with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively use our municipal equipment.
  • Collaborate with our product development team to identify areas for improvement and contribute to the creation of technical bulletins and product enhancements.
  • Ensure our dealers are compliant with our standards and guidelines, and process warranty claims in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Champion fairness and equity in warranty-related matters, arbitrating disputes between dealers and end-users as needed.
  • Play a key role in introducing new products to our dealers through installations and training sessions, and represent our company at product demos and trade shows.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and water systems.
  • College or technical school background preferred.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
  • ASE certifications a plus.
  • Proven customer service skills, with at least 4 years of experience.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Previous experience in warranty administration a significant advantage.
  • Class B CDL driver's license a plus.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and able to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 35%) and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Extensive travel required, with occasional heavy lifting and climbing in and out of truck cabs.
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
