Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team at Factory Cleaning Equipment by Jon-Don LLC. As a Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on customer and company assets
  • Work with the dispatch team to schedule and complete in-shop and field work
  • Effectively communicate with customers regarding equipment repairs and maintenance
  • Maintain accurate inventory of company parts issued
  • Provide training and support to customers on the proper use of equipment
  • Conduct inspections on company assets to ensure general upkeep
  • Uphold professionalism by providing courteous customer service to visitors, clients, and vendors
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two or more years of electrical and mechanical diagnosis and repair experience required
  • Experience with hydraulic systems, gasoline, and propane powered engines a plus
  • Clear understanding of mechanical, electro-mechanical, servo-electric, electrical, and hydraulic control devices
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams
  • Must be able to use a multimeter
  • Must have own tools, with specialty tools furnished by the company
  • Must possess proficient ability to communicate in English in oral and written format
  • Ability to maintain high accuracy in preparing and entering data
  • Ability to effectively apply analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
