This role is based out of our Corporate Headquarters in Burlington, MA, reporting directly to the Director of Strategic Sourcing.

**Job Summary**

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional with experience working in procurement and supply chain management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, cost optimization, and vendor management.

**Responsibilities**

This position involves conducting market research, tracking indexes, and pricing trends to ensure a competitive raw materials portfolio. The incumbent will analyze upstream feedstocks/commodities, create cost models to understand the impact on pricing, and develop/publish key performance indicator (KPI) reporting.

The successful candidate will also assist the Procurement Director/Manager with vendor management processes, work with internal sites to resolve CSR issues related to vendors/materials, and reconcile invoicing variances related to raw materials and packaging.

Additionally, this individual will help govern Wellness Pet volume commitments on a monthly basis, identify and qualify new supply sources to reduce costs, simplify our supply chain, and improve the overall quality of our vendor base.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with data, preferably in a manufacturing environment;
  • Understanding of basic manufacturing cost models & processes;
  • Ability to analyze and present data to multiple levels of the organization;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Technical savvy with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Access;
  • Ability to travel 25-30% of time.
