Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer or Network Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for our online services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform market research, conduct analyses, and examine customer and technology-related industry trends to solve Network Capacity Delivery matters and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define strategic initiatives for expansion and cost reduction.
- Engage with network operators and data centers worldwide to procure metro fiber, long-haul fiber, DIA & IP transit services, IP addresses, cross connects, IX connections, ISP uplinks, subsea cables, satellite links, 5G infrastructure, and lit wave circuits.
- Drive alignment with Mibura's goals and strategy with external customers, vendors, and suppliers.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to design architecture and integrated customer solutions.
- Build strategic relationships with vendors and industry experts and communicate progress internally.
- Direct sourcing initiatives for critical network infrastructure.
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of sourcing engineers.
- Lead and support colocation sourcing efforts for global network expansions.
- Responsible for data analytics to drive workflow efficiency gains.
- Manage frontline technical projects with external suppliers.
- Manage governance programs to ensure performance requirements are met throughout development.
- Develop robust operating procedures and strategies for Fiber Sourcing and Delivery segments.
- Ensure contracting compliance with service suppliers, legal and finance teams.
- Effectively communicate and present progress with management teams.
- Build and maintain genuine relationships with global teams from network and datacenter providers.
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years' experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years' experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
