Lead and manage holistic distributor and customer value propositions to drive profitable growth.
Accountabilities:
Responsible for achieving sales targets by aggressively pursuing new and renewal account opportunities. Collaborate with sales specialists and underwriters to facilitate closing deals. Conduct discussions with distributors to develop accurate distributor profiles. Complete and maintain opportunity assessments with key distributors to identify growth opportunities. Create business plans with distributors leveraging Zurich's range of insurance products and services. Build strong business relationships at multiple levels of the distributor organization. Conduct regular sales calls with distributors aligned to opportunity and need. Work with Business Units to execute distributor business plans. Conduct periodic reviews with distributors to manage their performance and ensure execution of business plans. Qualify accounts to meet Zurich's appetite. In partnership with underwriters, negotiate to close deals with distributors. Drive and manage processes to increase Zurich product density at existing accounts. Build internal relationships with Zurich Business Units to facilitate a unified face to market. Serve as the escalation point for distributor service and business issues. Manage the sales pipeline. Achieve goals related to sales calls, submissions, hit ratios, and production. Effectively execute sales strategies and campaigns.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience in sales or a related field. Alternatively, a High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 years of experience in sales or a related field may be considered. Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate's degree and 6 years of experience in sales or a related field is also acceptable. Preferred qualifications include insurance industry experience and strong verbal and written communication skills.
