Job Summary

The Real Estate Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the corporate real estate department by providing financial modeling and analysis for current and future real estate projects. This individual will review and analyze project budgets, ensuring timely posting of expenditures in the project database system (Projecto). Additionally, they will work closely with the corporate accounting team to ensure accurate capitalization of expenses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform financial projections and analysis to evaluate real estate opportunities and investments in current properties
  • Provide support to the corporate real estate department in tracking project budgets and ensuring expenditures are posted timely
  • Collaborate with the corporate accounting department to ensure accurate capitalization of expenses
  • Participate in regular meetings to discuss the status of all real estate projects
  • Produce summarized reports showing the investment in each property
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis with a focus on real estate
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Experience with Projecto or another project database system a plus
