This is a rewarding, hybrid, full-time position.

As the Chief Fundraising Officer, you will oversee the comprehensive fundraising strategy of the organization, which includes managing corporate sponsorships, cultivating individual donors, writing grants, and organizing annual fundraising events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement fundraising operations, ensuring alignment with the mission, policies, and objectives set forth by the Board.
  • Design, maintain, and assess the annual fundraising strategy and objectives.
  • Advise the President and Board on the planning, execution, and evaluation of fundraising programs and events.
  • Support the President and Board in building networks and developing new members, community connections, and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Lead volunteer committees that assist in achieving fundraising goals.
  • Establish and manage communication systems (e.g., database, newsletters, invitations, website) necessary for engaging sponsors, donors, and supporters.
  • Identify grant and funding opportunities to assist the President in developing proposal plans.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports related to revenue and expenses from events, donations, grants, and foundation awards.
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings, Board meetings, and annual retreats.
  • Determine strategies for raising funds to meet strategic objectives.
  • Maintain comprehensive fundraising financial reports and analyses.
  • Support the creation and implementation of policies and procedures that align with fundraising objectives.
  • Evaluate outcomes against goals and direct the development of solutions and organizational changes as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in a nonprofit fundraising role.
  • A four-year degree is required.
  • CFRE certification is preferred.
  • Proven success in building philanthropic partnerships.
  • Strong skills in volunteer management.
  • Proficient in database management and website oversight.
  • Experience in financial management and report development.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This exciting role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $125,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth.
