Role Summary
The Community Engagement Manager is a multifaceted full-time role focused on fostering an outstanding level of social interaction for residents through meticulous planning, organization, and effective communication via newsletters, flyers, and meetings. This position is crucial for maximizing resident involvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the scheduling and organization of intricate activities, including meetings, special events, and community programs with the utmost integrity.
- Assist in event planning by securing entertainment, catering services, decorations, and any other essentials for successful gatherings.
- Supervise the Front Desk, Concierge, and Gate House staff, ensuring seamless operations.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures to guarantee service excellence.
- Engage in recruiting, training, and evaluating team members.
- Coordinate property tours and ensure compliance with rental agreements.
- Encourage resident participation in all activities and special events.
- Manage logistics for meeting rooms, including setup and technical requirements.
- Maintain accurate records for all activities and events.
- Respond promptly to inquiries regarding rentals and assist potential renters.
- Handle vendor contracts and administrative documentation.
- Facilitate communication between departments and external agencies.
- Ensure timely responses to all communications and maintain a professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a social or recreational program.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Strong organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Work Environment
This position is based in a residential community with a vibrant atmosphere. The role involves both office work and outdoor activities, particularly during events.
Physical Requirements
Employees may need to lift items weighing up to 30 pounds and perform various physical tasks associated with event setup.
