Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our Accounts Receivable team at Mindful Support Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for communicating with clients regarding balances, partnering with them to ensure accurate information and payment is received, and strategizing with clients on ways to complete their overdue payments.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that will train at our headquarters and will be moving to our newest location by the end of 2024. As a Customer Service Representative, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and fast-paced atmosphere, pushing yourself to reach new goals alongside your team.

Mindful Support Services is a company dedicated to empowering therapists, psychologists, and nurse practitioners to dive into private practice without doing all of the leg work that comes with it. We provide high-quality billing, marketing, and administrative services to independent mental health care providers across the Pacific Northwest.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients regarding balances and ensure accurate information and payment is received.
  • Strategize with clients on ways to complete their overdue payments.
  • Educate clients on insurance benefit details and financial responsibility.
  • Navigate escalated calls with empathy and healthy boundary-setting.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet department goals and daily tasks.

Requirements

  • Experience in a customer service role with performance metrics.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, respectfully, and effectively.

  • A team-oriented mindset to foster collaboration and new ideas.
  • Experience with high call volume.
  • Working knowledge of Excel (preferred but not required).
  • Basic understanding of health insurance (preferred but not required).

Salary

The starting salary for this position is $21.00 per hour, with opportunities for increases up to $24.00 with tenure and performance raises.
