Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at DMC Harper University/Hutzel Women's Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality respiratory care services to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver therapeutic and rehabilitative procedures to patients with cardiopulmonary abnormalities.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop comprehensive cardiopulmonary care plans.
  • Conduct patient assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy.
  • Instruct employees and students in respiratory care procedures and evaluate their competence.
  • May serve as an in-charge therapist and preceptor as needed.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree from an accredited Respiratory Care program.
  • Registration (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • BCLS certification is required, with ACLS certification preferred.
  • Licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan.
