Role Summary:
The Product Innovation Engineer is responsible for spearheading the development and enhancement of products, ensuring alignment with both market needs and manufacturing capabilities. This role involves a blend of creativity and technical expertise to drive product excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all stages of product development, from conceptual design to production readiness.
- Develop, document, and manage comprehensive project plans for new product initiatives.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, tooling requirements, and regulatory approvals.
- Utilize solid modeling techniques to ensure design integrity and functionality.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of products, focusing on stress analysis, fluid dynamics, material strength, and machine design principles.
- Prepare and manage budgets for product development projects from inception to production.
- Review engineering drawings for precision, dimensional accuracy, and completeness.
- Participate in product testing and validation at accredited laboratories to meet compliance standards.
- Promote a culture of safety by adhering to established protocols and reporting hazards promptly.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and organizational goals.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven ability to address complex technical challenges with innovative solutions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.

Educational Background:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in mechanical design or a related field.
- Experience with sprinkler systems and plumbing standards is preferred.
