Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Knowles Precision Devices. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for fabricating parts and assemblies in accordance with engineering and manufacturing specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow all safety rules, company policies, and procedures.
  • Read and understand work orders, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
  • Communicate with production supervisors regarding non-conformances and irregularities.
  • Operate various equipment, including CNC laser cutters, shears, punch presses, and bending equipment.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning.

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of experience in fabrication processes or equivalent training.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and understand manufacturing documents.
  • Good math skills and ability to read/use a ruler, tape measure, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Ability to define basic/routine problems and seek solutions.
  • Full body movement and ability to lift/move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
