We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our Cardiac Rhythm Management division in Liberty, SC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing design specifications and performance requirements, providing technical information on manufacturing or processing techniques, and selecting techniques to solve problems and make sound design recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish processes based on product specifications.
  • Evaluate process and design alternatives based on 'Design for Manufacturability' principles.
  • Manage program compliance with Quality Control requirements.
  • Understand IP issues relative to processes being developed.
  • Maintain knowledge of new developments in manufacturing and design technologies.
  • Understand work environment issues (i.e. OSHA regulations, etc.).
  • May supervise or provide work direction to other technicians.
  • May lead or serve as member on cross-functional project teams.
  • Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technical Field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred.
  • Masters Degree Preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience designing and testing medical devices preferred.
  • Experience developing manufacturing processes and technologies and designing for manufacturability preferred.
  • Previous project management and people management experience required.
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
