Job Description
This position is based in the health center in Dalton, GA. The estimated schedule is Monday - Wednesday - 6 am - 6 pm, Thursday 6 am - 11 am, and Saturday rotation 6 am - 11 am every 5th or 6th week. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care treatment in an employer-based setting
- Episodic care (low acuity urgent care)
- Extended episodic acute care which can include 4-5 visits for an illness or injury that is limited in its chronicity
- Chronic condition education and co-management with outside primary care if we are not the PCP
- Ability to oversee and perform CLIA waived tests, dispense Rx medications, and oversee a specimen collection lab
