Medical Care Specialist

About the Role
Abode Care Partners is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Medical Care Specialist, you will provide evidence-based medical care to seniors and patients with complex needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive medical assessments and develop personalized care plans for patients.
- Diagnose and treat chronic and urgent illnesses, minor injuries, and other health conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and maintain accurate patient records.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed.
- Provide referrals to other healthcare practitioners when necessary.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) and current Nurse Practitioner National Board Certification.
- Active state DEA licensure and a minimum of five years of nursing experience, with at least two years of nurse practitioner experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, excellent time management skills, and proficiency in medical instruments and equipment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations, as well as proficiency in computer-based data management programs and electronic medical record systems.
- A valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
