Job Summary

The Sacramento County CA is seeking a highly skilled Health Program Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our public health department, you will be responsible for performing administrative and supervisory duties for contracted and county-operated health programs and services. This includes staff supervision, program development and implementation, program monitoring and evaluation, coordination of services, and related duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of program staff and operations.
  • Develop and implement program plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate with other departments and agencies to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide training and technical assistance to program staff.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in health care administration, public health, health science, nursing, or a related field.
  • Two years of professional experience in a relevant health field, including coordination and supervision of program staff and operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
