Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Project Manager - THAAD Component New Business. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating with stakeholders to develop bids for proposals, creating Basis of Estimates (BOEs) using genBOE for proposal submittals, and understanding and communicating Technical Baselines, Task Instructions, and Requests for Proposal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate with stakeholders to develop bids for proposals
  • Create Basis of Estimates (BOEs) using genBOE for proposal submittals
  • Understand and communicate Technical Baselines, Task Instructions, and Requests for Proposal requirements
  • Effectively plan and support technical and schedule requirements while coordinating with multi-functional teams across multiple LM sites in a dynamic and multifaceted environment
  • Develop and present summary and status details to Senior Leadership, Directors, and Central Management
  • Efficiently manage several ongoing projects serving as a liaison between the technical, acquisition, and program teams and stakeholders
  • Maintain well-organized proposal databases and documents
  • Travel as needed to support the program needs
Requirements
  • Experience with Request for Proposals (RFP) process and evaluation
  • Experience as an interface or representative to internal/external customers/partners
  • Ability to acquire a Secret clearance, therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required
Desired Skills
  • Experience in project management, and/or new business efforts
  • Experience developing strategic process improvements
  • Familiarity with business processes (invoicing, billing, funding, etc.) in the context of prime and subcontracts
  • Experience with IDIQ contracts
  • Familiarity with missile and weapon elements, capabilities, and CONOPS
  • Experience addressing Senior Leadership
  • Excellent organization, analytical, presentation, spreadsheet, communications, and interpersonal skills
  • Active Secret clearance

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $61,300 - $117,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
