About the Role

Cayzen Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front End Web Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing fully functional websites, including all technical aspects related to installing, configuring, securing, and maintaining a Content Management System used by business users to manage the content of the website.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and develop a fully functioning website that utilizes a Content Management System such as WordPress, Drupal, etc.
  • Front End Development: Analyze, design, develop, code, test user-facing features for applications accessible to staff and clients with disabilities using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Angular, JavaScript, jQuery.
  • UI/UX Design: Build the website template design for the website for the best user experience, responsiveness, and accessibility. This will include working with a contracted User Experience Design Consultant, specialized in user experience and interaction design capabilities, to create an accessible, intuitive, and human-centred user experience.
  • UI Design Standards: Define UI design standards for look and feel, usability, and user experience for new applications. This work will be in collaboration with a contracted User Experience Design Consultant.
  • Content Management System: Install, configure, update, and manage a Content Management System such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, etc. that will be used by business users to enter content into websites.
  • Security: Manage security permissions to grant access to users of the Content Management System.
  • Problem Solving: Resolve software interface and interoperability problems.
  • Server Management: Manage and configure web IIS or Linux servers including access management, log analysis, and performance optimization.
  • Documentation: Write and maintain documentation for applications, interfaces, and architecture.
  • Data Management: Document data and information in ways that make the information most useful for subsequent assessment, analysis, and investigation.
