Business Process Improvement Consultant

Cayzen Technologies is seeking a skilled Business Process Improvement Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for streamlining IT service delivery processes, creating efficiencies, and developing processes where none exist. Your goal will be to improve internal ITSO processes and create clear, well-documented end-user processes.
Key Responsibilities
Identify opportunities for improving IT service delivery processes and creating processes where none exist.
Assist in the preparation of proposals to facilitate operational change or develop new systems.
Work with the process service owner to ensure that changes are effectively communicated and artifacts are stored in a central repository.
Independently facilitate requirements gathering meetings and workshops across multiple IT teams, environmental or administrative programs.
Independently analyze and develop functional and non-functional requirements for IT process improvement work efforts or IT Projects.
Develop business cases to describe the problem, its root causes and impacts, identifies gaps and shortcomings, and recommends solutions.
Identify the needs of stakeholder groups by applying Business Process Modeling (BPM) techniques to develop and document as-is and to-be processes.
Use Business Process Reengineering methods and Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategies and contribute to Change management plan development and execution.
Document and organize requirements so that they are testable and traceable.
Consult with staff and external partners to analyze technology needs and problems; analyze and resolve highly complex problems.
Define key performance indicators (KPI).
Lead the development of the business case, cost/benefit analysis and feasibility.
Evaluate new and changing business or stakeholder requirements to assess their impact to the proposed solutions scope, cost, or schedule.
Direct quality assurance efforts; develop software test plans and conduct User Acceptance Test (UAT) sessions.
Develop requirements traceability matrices.
Manage the execution of the test.
Provide input to 'go/no go' business and technical decisions.
Track, report and monitor defect identification and resolution.
Deliverables
The following artifacts will be created, posted in central repository and communicated out to affected stakeholders:
Business analysis plan (approach).
Documented 'as is' and 'to be' IT processes.
Step by step end user documentation for staff who consume IT services.
Requirements and business case documentation.
Functional and non-functional specification documentation.
Contributions to communication and change management plans.
