Position Summary:
The Medical Doctor applies and adapts medical principles, methods, and techniques to deliver primary patient care. Collaborating closely with the Practice Administrator and Case Manager, the physician ensures comprehensive service delivery and high-quality patient care. The role involves cooperating with management to achieve clinic objectives and enhance service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide medical treatment to patients, documenting all interactions in line with company policies.
2. Collaborate with Medical Assistants to ensure compliance with regulations.
3. Communicate effectively with medical staff to coordinate high-quality treatment and client services.
4. Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards while complying with corporate policies.
5. Contribute to solutions for intra- and inter-departmental challenges.
6. Safeguard clinic assets against loss or waste due to negligence.
7. Engage in special medical projects and services as needed.
8. Participate in professional development and maintain relevant affiliations.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience in General Practice is preferred, along with EMR proficiency and computer literacy.
- Must hold a current medical license to practice in the state.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of medical practices and regulations.
- Proficiency in medical equipment and safety protocols.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in emergencies.
- Excellent communication skills with patients and staff.
