Principal Mixed-Signal Electronic Design Engineer

Draper Labs is seeking a highly skilled Principal Mixed-Signal Electronic Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Low Power Electronics group, you will play a critical role in the development of next-generation sensor/actuator hardware within the Electronics Division.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop next-generation sensor/actuator hardware
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project and system requirements into well-defined hardware architectures
- Develop and implement innovative solutions for cutting-edge designs
- Manage multi-disciplinary tasks with multiple engineers and effectively communicate status to project leadership and customers
- Develop, document, and teach best practices to less experienced engineers
- 7-10 years of experience in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong electrical engineering fundamentals, including experience with miniature low power embedded systems, sensor integration, wireless communication interfaces, and battery conditioning and maintenance
- Experience leading teams of engineers and developing new products/business
- Proficiency in electronic design, microprocessor or embedded computing, and computer programming and coding abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, mathematical skills, and organizational skills
