Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of phlebotomists and ancillary staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and quality of care.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Provide coaching and training to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
- 2+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, preferably in phlebotomy or a related field.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Previous management experience or participation in management training programs.
- National phlebotomy certification.
- Associates degree or equivalent experience.
