Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of phlebotomists and ancillary staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and quality of care.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide coaching and training to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, preferably in phlebotomy or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous management experience or participation in management training programs.
  • National phlebotomy certification.
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience.
