About the Job

This is an entry-level position for a Master of Social Work (MSW) professional at Fresenius Medical Care North America. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing psychosocial services to patients undergoing dialysis treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and address patients' psychosocial needs through counseling, education, and support.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans that promote patient rehabilitation and quality of life.
  • Provide information and education on kidney disease, treatment modalities, and available support services.
  • Work with patients, families, and healthcare teams to resolve billing concerns, insurance issues, and financial responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Masters in Social Work degree from an accredited institution.
  • State-specific licensure required.
  • 0-2 years of related experience in social work or a related field.
