SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Service Line Leader is responsible for facilitating surgical case flow on designated service lines within the operating room. This includes responsibility for managing equipment, all key performance indicators within assigned service lines, and coordinating supplies and instruments with various personnel including physicians, vendors, and staff to ensure efficient use of the operating rooms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage equipment and supplies to ensure efficient use of the operating rooms
- Coordinate with physicians, vendors, and staff to ensure smooth surgical case flow
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate degree in Surgical Technology or completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Current Surgical Technology certification (NBSTSA, NCCT)
- Two (2) years' experience as a Surgical Technologist
