Job Summary:

The Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at Penn State Health- Hershey seeks advanced practice providers to assist in the care of our surgical and non-surgical orthopaedic patients. The ideal candidate will have previous orthopedic experience, preferably in inpatient orthopaedics, and be able to work well in small teams and interact with other surgical and medical specialties.

Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day management of primary patients on the orthopaedic service as well as consults.
  • Participation in both medical and orthopaedic management, as well as discharge planning.
  • Collaboration with residents in caring for patients, with an interest in education and support of our academic mission.

Requirements:
  • Masters Degree in Nursing with clinical specialization required.
  • Two (2) years' work experience as a RN required.
  • Current licensed to practice as a CRNP by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
