Job Summary

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician I to join our Security Enterprise Solutions team. As a Field Service Technician I, you will be responsible for performing customer support activities involving the installation, modification, and repair of complex equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Repair: Conduct on-site installation and testing of equipment to ensure proper working order, isolate equipment start-up malfunctions, and take corrective action.
  • Customer Support: Perform customer support activities, including troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
  • Resource Management: Manage resources, maintain schedules, and coordinate all repair activities in priority sequence to ensure adherence to contractual service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless execution of tasks and projects.
  • Travel: Travel to various customer sites domestically and internationally as required.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; related trade experience or military training preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience directly involved in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs, push/pull 200 lbs, and move/manipulate equipment weighing up to 1000 lbs with assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and specialized software programs, with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Leidos offers a competitive salary range of $62,000 to $68,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
