Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Host/Hostess to join our team at Peak, a premium restaurant located on the 101st floor of 30 Hudson Yards. As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests, and working collaboratively with our restaurant staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests as they enter, provide menus, and answer initial questions.
  • Seat guests at tables or in waiting areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment.
  • Assign guests to tables, taking into account table rotation and server workload.
  • Engage with guests to ensure they are satisfied with their food and service.
  • Respond to complaints and help resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide information to guests.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the menu and be able to make recommendations.
  • Assist other restaurant staff as needed, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Able to work in a busy restaurant environment.
  • Restaurant experience a plus.
  • Weekend availability is a must.
