Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operational Scheduler to join our team at SGA, a technology and resource solutions provider driven to stand out. As a Scheduler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' healthcare services.

Job Responsibilities
  • Schedule and pre-certify procedures for both physicians and facilities, verifying insurance eligibility and reviewing benefits.
  • Work closely with parents and other departments to schedule patients in a timely manner, ensuring accurate registrations, demographic, and insurance information.
  • Verify guardianship/custody issues and coordinate vendor or specialized equipment required for surgical procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A High School Diploma and 3 years of progressive experience in patient registration and scheduling, medical insurance verification, preferably in a hospital or physician's office as a receptionist.
  • Proficiency in Cerner and/or similar EMR systems, CNHS HBOC, and PPM/PSM systems.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, consumer relations, and telephone skills.
  • Knowledge of medical insurance verification procedures, insurance screening, financial counseling, billing, and healthcare business operations.
  • Familiarity with CPT/ICD-10 coding and ability to multitask.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our company offers a competitive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
